"The Diary of IC Explura" este un proiect al lui Toni Oswald (in caz ca nu stiati inca, fosta iubita a lui John, celebra pt faptul ca a ales hainele cu care s-a imbracat in videoclipul de la "Under The Bridge" si pt ca a reprezentat una dintre "vocile" care l-au indemnat sa paraseasca formatia in '92), la care a colaborat si Josh Klinghoffer. Part 1, "A Love Letter To The Transformer" (dedicat lui Lou Reed, "the transformer") are urmatorul tracklisting, preview-urile fiind disponibile pe iTunes:
1. Prelude
2. Space Is Dawning
3. Inside Outside
4. A Serious Dream
5. The Longing
6. Ic Lands
7. Black Fish Pearls
8. The Lesson In 8 Parts
9. The Mirrors In Him
10. Tangled Up In Music
